3.
Identical
twins, a party invitation, and a locked closet.
It wouldn’t be long now. The party
had started at eight and most of the guests had arrived but he said he would be
here and she trusted him.
Her parents were out of town visiting
her grandfather for a few days so while they were gone she decided to throw a
party. Most of those who were here already were drunk and had already started
the drinking games but Sammi waited pacing the tiled kitchen floor for the
doorbell to ring.
By ten she had almost given up when
the familiar chime of the door went.
“Where have you been?” She demanded
“Sorry, I’m late. I had to pick my
brother up at the airport. I brought him along. Hope you don’t mind.”
Damon breezed past her kissing her on
the cheek going to join the other guests in their games. She opened her mouth
to protest and immediately closed it when she saw a perfect replica of her
crush standing in the doorway looking more submissive than she was sure Damon
had ever been in his life.
“Hi, I’m Jason. It’s nice to meet
you. Sorry about my brother.”
She hadn’t known Damon even had a
brother let alone an identical twin. She gestured for him to come in not
trusting herself to speak.
As Sammi followed the boys into the
living room where the other guests had started a game of truth or dare. When
Sammi sat down the bottle span around to face her and her best friend Clarisse
smirked as she picked Dare.
“I dare you to spent seven minutes in
heaven with someone of my choice blindfolded. When you leave you have to guess
who it was.”
Sammi knew her best friend would pick
one of the twins and dreaded having to distinguish between the two.
